shame they didnt have a candidate with a brain aswell....or itd have been an easy choice, rather than a dumb nazi who is only president because his father was....and an ex officer who was only promoted because of a hitch in the us army (isnt it always the way)....

Kerry for the sake of world peace. Bush really has a way of making enemies, and piss other nations/religions/races/... you name it. This world is not only for white american protestant people.

OMG, neone whos watched farnheight 9/11 and other REAL news programmes will know that there are mopre cops in manhatten (bout 3000 odd) than there are troops in Afghanistan, shows how much Bush really cares about catching Al'quada its just a front so that he could attack Iraq and suck it dry. Having Iraq also means that Bush can attack other countrys in the middle East The man is a nutter . Its got to the extent that i won't help Amercans who ask it off me , evan if they don't support him, and I doubt I'm alone across the world thats just a fraction of the negative feeling towards America he has developed

Kerry, but I can't see it happening. After all Bush didn't win the last election.
Either way, the US has to change or the rest of the world will.
And Jim, don't be so sure. My housemate and I have read up on all coverage and have been very interested in Bush since his dad was a terrible president.

Well I hope its not Bush! What is total Dumbass.
But does anyone else think the whole electoral system is wrong or not really a true representation of the people? Not just in US, but here and infact most Western democratic countries. I mean the First Past The Post system, the US Electoral College etc. I would think Proportional Representation would be better in this country.
E.g. last US election, Bush apparently won Florida by 0.01% of the vote. thats less than 1,000 voters. Those voters were however given 5% of all votes at the Electoral College therefore 5% of the vote full stop. (27 of 538 members i think). So, the other 49.9% of Floridians were not represented at all.
Well, I am sure the Americans understand better. ?! or do they LOL!

It's true Bush has made Americans look like Twats (except to other Americans) but that doesn't mean we all are.
Kerry wins and he has to try to clean Bush's F'ups. Bush wins, well we loose.
Jim don't let F 911 brainwash you! yes He (Bush) is a twat, but M.Moore does everything he can including clever editing to make him look like that! NY/NJ is strongly supporting Kerry. I hop he wins, and if he does let's hope he does a better job.
Remeber, the USA is not just NYC, California and Florida! it's also a bunch of midwestern states that are very.."Cowboy".
-Erik, friend to all my fellow PF'ers from around the world.
In watching Farenheit 911 I also saw the clips of Iraq months before the attack, kids on swings, people happy, etc, etc.
but what they don't show is Saddam torturing people of other ethnicitys(sp) or how he punished his olympic teams for not winning the gold medals. Yes very cleaver editing lets show all happy faces, if that was the truth, i'd be vacationing in Iraq myself.

It amazes me that you guys are so concerned about who holds what political office on our side of the pond.
Personally, I don't think it much matters this time, here's why:
Bush wins, we get 4 more years of the same (at least we know what we're getting)
Kerry wins, he won't be able to get anything through a republican congress (nothing changes)
I'm more interested in who wins the race for governor of Washington state.
F911 is pure propaganda, nothing more, nothing less. Hitler tried the same thing a little while back.

Oh yeah....I don't know how it is over your way, but over here the media has a HUGE bias to the LEFT. And from what I've seen, the European media is even WORSE, at least as far as US politics is concerned.
So, if you believe everything you are spoon fed in the media, I'd have to question whether your're qualified to make a truly INFORMED vote.
9/11 changed the world, and I don't think that ANYONE would be happy with ALL of the changes made as a result.
However, I view Bush as BY FAR the lesser of 2 evils. Kerry can't even get his story straight or decide which side of an issue he supports. The guy has more waffles than Belgium.

Qualified and eligible are 2 entirely different things. Just because you are not a convicted felon, are over 18, and have a pulse does not (IMHO) *qualify* you to make an *intelligent* choice on government. Unfortunately, however, it does make you *eligible* to do so.
Big difference.......
I"m saying you're not getting the WHOLE story from the media and it creates bias. I know of only ONE ,major news organization in the US that is even NEUTRAL. ALL the rest are drastically slanted LEFT, and its sickening.
Give me the FACTS and make them STRAIGHT and I"ll make up my own mind. I don't need some network drone spinning it for me.

i think that if bush wins u'll see over the next 4 yrs more countries will b attacked over terrorism and something will actually get done about it, but not done well as u can see from iraq and afganistan. is this a good thing??
if kerry wins he'll sort out iraq and afganistan and get things set right there. then i seriously doubt they'll be anymore attacks on other countrys from the US as he seems 2 me the sort of guy that would only go 2 war as a very last resort. so really he'll get fewer things done on the terrorism front but they will be done right.
so if kerry wins in my view things will become quiet on the international front as he'll be consentrating on demestic things. but if kerry wins where does that leave Blair??

I'd be surprised if Kerry could sort out his socks, let alone matters of international affairs. The guy can't even make up his mind most of the time.
BTW, since it was asked more than once.....here is MY take on which party stands for what:
Democrats: Want more government and lots of social programs and handouts while penalizing people who actually DO work and are successful.
Republicans: Want less government and think that people should support themselves rather than wait for handouts and social programs.
I personally don't care what either party stands for on any issue than economics. I'm registered as an Independant and can see both sides of the issue most times, its just that I tend to agree with the republicans way more than the dumbocrats
