10k to do a sleeper
say if you had 10 grand to do a really quick sleeper, what would you do?
free labour and not TOO much fabrication, what engine and car would you pick?

Std looking focus with 4x4 running gear & yb lump.....thats about the best sleeper I can think of under the ford marquee.
If you want suggestions of any car then this could be a loooooong thread....
You want 'any old car' suggestions or just ford?

Trust me i've done it the hard way

10k could build a DADDY sleeper.
You could really go crazy on it. Probably something small and AWD.

What i mean is, you could probably use just about anything and any engine. Do you actually intend to build this?

10K doesnt actually get you a great deal by the time everythings bought unless your saving on labour charges by doing it yourself. im not far off 10K with my bmw atm and its no where near finished.
my last project, a cosworth converted rwd toyota celica cost me £28000 and took me 8 years .

what you have to think of is i put a lot of time in to the build of the van so what i got it for has no real bearing on the price i would ask for it

Depends who does it all and what you use.
He said without labour etc i think.
My civic stands me at 2k ish. With 5 times that amount i could be spending money on silly things.
