Something is amiss, as the settings you have quoted should be super-stable. What bushes are they (as in which manufacturer)?

The donut bushes are poly unfortunately...i should have gone for solid

Brom supplied them, they are yellow if that helps lol.

It'd be good to get it checked by a company who knows cossies very well...the hardware fitted to the car is all ok imo, so it should just be a setup job.

Or the chassis could be twisted

If they are cheap bushes (as in anything but Powerflex), I would look here first.

Yeah, the cheap bushes..

It's being setup again tomorrow by the CHEMIX in Stourbride Martin, they did it perfect last time..

Been out in it today and tbh it didn't seem like it was wandering at all. even @ 140, maybe i was being paranoid.. so used to the Evo handling i guess............

I have no idea, Brom charged me about £70 for them i think.

But don't worry Pete, they're a doddle to change on your own

It'd benefit from some nice solids anyway IMO..i also seem to remember the Diff mount not being in great condition ( i think )

Isn't it strange how people always tell you this after you've bought the car..

Yes mate, it's certainly the way to go tbh, i.e when you launch too it doesn't squat it digs in lovely and tbh the conering is fantastic, as said, it seemed ok today, maybe it's the getting used to coming from Evo to Taxi again..

Wouldn't mind the bushes changing though Doug, but who to go to...

The cossie will cetainly feel really dated compared to the EVO Pete.

Any time I drive my mates P1's or EVO's I cant believe how planted they feel!

Euan,

Yes mate, i think that's what the issue may have been tbh, i'd not driven it in anger until yesterday, well top speed wise anyway and you forget they're 20 yrs old even with this beam it still WON'T feel as the Evo did..

Keeps me on my toes anyway..........

Get Mark to check it over . However, there is nothing wrong with the Zoo beams, even Ahmed acknowledged that they are a very good copy . If the diff mount is shagged, then it will effect things (see my website under transmission parts for uprated version ).

I bet it is the bushes and the rear diff mount .

Is that how the beam went on? mabe its just me but arent the bushes fitted wrongly? The conical bit should be coming up from underneath with the flat section on the top I'll post a pic.

Diff mount is £148.25 delivered - in stock

I personally would not run solid beam mounts on anything but a dedicated track car (as in one that sees NO roda use) .
