Just to confirm " he short shifted in some of the corners " you do that when you drive a powerful rwd car - You just know that if you leave it in the current lower gear and nail it fully, it will enter a drift and lose you time so you just short shift, get both hands on the wheel and because its downhill and the higher gear is still well in power band, u don't lose anything. (example being just as he exits the slowest corner of the track before adenau)
Excellent driving and cant believe he took a production car through Fuchsrohre at 163-164mph.. thats insane lol - If you haven't been to the ring before, u can't really fathom how utterly insane that would feel.

Jim commented after the lap that conditions were good except for a strong headwind down the main straight and that the lap was solid, but he felt there were a few places he could have gone faster.

awesome. lovely lap - he certainly knows where to use the kerbs and everything. you can see the disappointment when he has to correct oversteer and knows he's lost time when he takes his hand off the wheel and waves. that thing climbs the hill like it's not there. looks great fun and the handling looks superbly balanced
