What has Ian done Rob as he runs harnesses?
Could you not run them over and then down the back of the seat and use the seat fixing points?

this i would not recommend, good for people getting in and out of the back but not good in a head on accident.
go for the eye bolts where the rear belts bolt to the floor and unclip them if people are getting in the back. Muchos safer this way

Under no circumstances do this as in the event of an accident the seat will collapse and break your back with it.
Stick to the instructions they should be at least 45 degrees, ie in the gap of the rear seats
