are pumas girlie

Funny thing, all Cosworth owners I know or have come across are sorted people with their own homes and good jobs (to be able to afford to buy and run a Cossie) I don't believe I have ever met one that looks like Vicky Pollard or the male equivalent. Or am I missing the point of chaviness? I'd have said kitted up Corsas and Saxo's were chav. Must be short sighted in my bubble then.

Would it help if i said i have owned my own home since 25 and have a fairly decent job in the city and own 2 cars YET still have a Cosworth ?!

my mate has a Racing Puma, great cars, the handling is amazing, Good brakes, sticks out like a swore thumb from an normal puma with it looks, Lacks power power & if you are tall, you aint gonna want one & you have to be a dwarf to be able to sit in the back.
i like them but wouldnt buy one

they have a bit of a reputation for being 'girly' but are very capable cars, as are the fiesta's that they're based on. i would love one, but find the roof far too low - perhaps an aftermarket seat mounted lower would help.
i would also like an mx5 though, also said to be girly but rwd and brilliant handling balance. neither have massive amounts of power, but would both be great fun to drive on road and track

I actually prefer it without on the road.

They are girly, well at least that is the common opinion, I nearly bought one a while back, but decided it wasn't worth the hassle of being called a fag and having to defend my choice to everyone everywhere I went, so went for a MK5 Fiesta instead, which was of course a right rugged manly beast and a show of my masculinity
Pumas are good cars, but there's no getting away from the image, not even Steve Mcqueen could turn it into a mans car in that advert.

It was in GD? I never searched and dug it up, just added...weird
I aint insecure. Part of the attraction for me buying one was that they are very underated, and that people would call me/the car gay, yet with some decent mods it should hang onto the back of stuff round a track....it's all shits 'n giggles Confused to how the post is here though, now you mention it

I'd only worry about a car i'm gonna own if its pink and covered in flowers. Otherwise, if you like it and it drives good. Get one
If your still in doubt, keep some lube in the glovebox for male passengers.(if they rip into you)

Pumas do have a girly image but they are not girly cars.
I think a lot of it is jealousy when they get overtaken through the corners by one.
This is hardly girly:
