will do,

piston protrusion want the problem at all in the end , the piston was a rogue size and slapping

when it went back together it was perfect, it sounded ace. just unlucky with the seat failure, but hey ho, live and learn!

I keep looking out for the progress of your car,
Scared me when u said you had lost motivation. You didn't have much luck, Glad it's not just me tho.

Hope to see it all come together for next year.
I've finished rebuilding my 3 door engine, but i can't motivate myself to put it back in the car, it's too cold

Have a similar problem with my car after rebuil that cost thousands! Sounded perfect when first started up but now its done 2000 miles have got piston slap as bad as the 100,000 mile engine had in there before! New piston, pins, rebore to suit pistons all measured to ford workshop manual before assembly etc,any ideas before i strip it again? it doesnt use much oil and goes well.
