I was under the impression that all ford 4 cyl EDIS modules were the same? with the only different versions being for different number of cylinders - IE, Edis4, Edis6 and Edis8 ![Neutral](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_neutral.gif)
Probably no help to you tho I understand

All ford Escorts, fiestas, mondeo's with a zetec engine from about 1992 to 1999 ![](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/roi.gif)
At the end of the day, all it does is take a signal from the crank sensor into the module, send the PIP to the ECu to tell the ECu its receiving an input from the CPS and the ECU returns the SAW signal depending on the ignition map and tells the EDIS to fire whicever coil bank (1+3 or 2+4) respectively of engine position

dojj- actually you won't find a single EDIS module in a production car in the last 10 years.. they stopped using them in about 94/95 iirc as they went inside the ecu instead. (apart from the esc cos perhaps)
