Judging from your comments on track day behaviour, i would say you need to take it very steady on the road on your tombstone.

Nothing like pissing on someone's parade eh?

Well done Jonny.

Looks like you've passed it just in time mate. I heard on the radio the other day that changes are to be made to the test very soon to make it much more involved/difficult, you would have had nae chance of passing

Joking aside, enjoy yourself take it easy though.

LAMBCHOP I`ve been wanting a bike for a while but couldnt afford both so the cossie had to go, i had spent and lost enough on it already without going further mate

Bike wise im going for a 2007 cbr 600rr or the r6, flip of a coin really as i like both, i`ve got a holiday in cyprus and a 4 day stag in benidorm in august so im trying like fuck to save, my suit with boots and all comes to just over Ł1100 so i need to budget for that to, fingers crossed i get something before the semi decent wether fucks of again

well done,

CBR gets my vote too. Much better real world road bike since you've only just passed, the R6 tends to be a bit focussed if you know what I mean.

I prefer the gixer 600 out of all the bikes in that class. Not just looks but a better all round bike imo. Nothing wrong with the others though at all so you wont go far wrong with either of the 4 main jap makes.

If you want to go straight to a big bike(DAS), then its about Ł500 all in at the moment. That includes CBT, 3 days training and then the test. Add Ł30 ish for yout theory test too.

the bad news is, that in september, the bike test will get much harder and will cost much more to do due to new guidelines and 'super centres' being built to accomodate the changes.

As above, the new test is gony be terrible, already around my way instructors are talking of jacking it in, theres talk of these fancy new test courses being Ł45 for 15 minutes of use

The guy who took me for my test was telling me that the new emergency stop is going to be at 50kmph with laser timing, if your doing 49 you get a second chance, if you do less than 50 again its a fail, where as just now he can only judge by looking at you, thats only one of many many more changes, high speed slaloms, figure of 8`s etc

Anyone interested get it done before october
