don't think that you'll get better economy from a bike than a car, cos you won't. it's a joke.

Nice looking bike - out of interest, it looks like the exhaust doesn't have a silencer - where is it nowadays? somewhere below the fairings?

Cheers

nice bike i didn't expect something so new after your comments about cash at the start. you won the lottery?

hope you've filled in your organ donor card?

now you just have to do what it says on your bike licence and 'tear along the dotted line'

The guy who took me for my test was telling me that the new emergency stop is going to be at 50kmph with laser timing, if your doing 49 you get a second chance, if you do less than 50 again its a fail, where as just now he can only judge by looking at you, thats only one of many many more changes, high speed slaloms, figure of 8`s etc

Anyone interested get it done before october
im supprised the emergency stop is done at such a low speed, a more appropiate speed would be 70 mph. BUT i guess if doing a proper emergency stop on a bike there is a very big chance you are going over the handles bars, no?

well done mate, nice bike if i do say so myself , you might want to get a steering damper on it as they are known to misbehave from time to time.

not really - you're more likely to snatch the front brake and lock the wheel which will see it tuck under and you will be on your arse quicker than you can say 'greased lightning'

abs is the future - will be optional on all honda models by 2010

to get the rear to come up high, you need to be more progressive on the front brake to get the weight transfer forward so that it has enough grip to lift the rear wheel up without locking the wheel.

I like your bike a lot. I was considering a bike instead of another car as I've always wanted one and when I went the Nurburgring everyone had them. Riding to the 'Ring on a Sports Bike soon became my dream.

I hope you have some fantastic times on you're bike. Take care and have fun.

I'd love to mate but I have a few health problems so my doctor doesn't advise it. I can imagine it's nerve wrecking riding the first few times?

I was pretty nervous when i took it a test drive, i didnt want to drop the fooker before i even bought it

Its SOOOO much different from the bikes i learned on, its light as a feather in comparison so cornering it wants to lean over all the time and im still a shite bag so im fighting it not to

There is no buzz like it tho, i went out today with a few mates and its just so adictive you dont want to come home

I would of thought you have a very quick bike to start on? I bet it feels good knowing you could blow away most cars on the road.

I do like your bike, it's the best color.

What tyres are on it mate?

was out with the lads today, one of the lads has an 06 r6, all the local bikers know him. Hes f~~kin quick and rather talented. He was getting the bike on the back wheel at 110/115 in 4th and going round corners.. nutter... lol

you have started a new chapter in your life mate and your going to absolutely love it.

Read up on riding tips when the initial buzz has faded a fraction , you can find them on the net and bike magazines, help you with body position , target fixation, where to look ,turn in points , when to get on the gas, braking etc etc etc

oh and get on track asap, after a track day or 2 you should feel much more confident on the road and able to ride well within your limits

Thanks alot mate i`ll take your advice

The back tyre is brand new, i got him to fit a pirreli corsa 3 before i got it, its not far from needing one on the front to so i`ll just put the same on.

Any good places for tyres or is mytyres.co.uk still pretty good?
