I'm glad people are finally seeing that Mikalor are shite.

Bog standard wide Jubilee's are fine. That's all we are using on Gary's Evo.

i just always used 18mm wide proper pucka stainless items not had an issue yet even with when the saph ran 2.2bar boost

OK as exhaust clamps. If you want them to be air/water tight though, they are particularly crap at that.

St/St hi torque j clip's are perfect.


Mikalors leak at the joint of the bolt, i use them as a zorst clamp, but thats it.

Yeah,

Norma hi torque j-clips are what i use.

16mm band.


If std size is needed, Jubilee are the best, but their hi torque destroys hoses due to worm cut outs in the band.

When I bought my Saff it came with those Mikalor clamps on every boost hose, is it worth changing them? Never relaly liked the look of them.
