Default 3 door cossie wing mirror question!!!

Guys,

how do i get the mirror out of the housing so as i can get to the electrics behind!!????

What have you done now?

Is this another "My brake pedal feels strange", now its "My wing mirrors have NO wires, HOW can they be electric!!!?"

theyre electrical adjusting mirrors....

i can hear the motors but the mirror glass isnt moving!!

No, hence why im trying to adjust it!!

i can do it by hand but if someone could just tell me how to pop the mirror out i could have a do at fixing it.

I think you just pull the mirror off, its on a ball and socket !!!!

Or you can just remove the backing ,clips on

If you look up at the bottom of the mirror you will see a small hole.

You need to pop a screwdriver in there and slide the locking ring around by about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch, then the glass comes out enough for you to disconnect the heating element.

Refitting is the reverse of removal.

What shame i didnt wait for this answer and forced the mirror out rendering it totally useless!!
