thought i would reply on this again as i went to dentist yesterday and ive now been referred for an extraction

i didnt even mention the fact the bottom one on right hand side hurts a bit,but he sent me for xray and ive got 1 growing sideways, like the X ray punkie posted, but he said that wont be a problem, the bottom left is growing into my jaw and its stuck, he said it wont be an " ordinary wisdom tooth extraction " and ive been referred to oral surgery dept to get it removed under general anaesthetic

Slightly nervous now

Sarah

One of my wisdom teeth is growing like this...

I thought i was looking at an x-ray of my mouth there!
I had exactly the same as that 2 years ago, had to get part of my jaw removed and they took the tooth out, all ok now though.

[quote=Thrush;3397487]End of last week I noticed that when I chew, in the back of mouth, top left, I get an almost "sharp" feeling, a tad uncomfortable, but no real bother....

Gradually it's got a bit more prominant, so I stuck my fingers in my mouth Right behind my last back tooth used to be a lump of gum. Now it has something sharp poking out of it, about a mm long! This isn't the cause of the discomfort/aggitation, but right behind that is a second, smaller lump, but it still has skin over it, like something beneath the skin/gum.

Feels a bit like a tooth! Teeny little sharp inscisor. Fuck all on the other side tho, just lump gum!

Is this a wisdom tooth breaking through? Is it gonna carry on being a pain in the, err, mouth or will it ease up and become a fully blown tooth?

i had this exat same thing just wate for the teath to push through the gum then the pain will go mine have been fine ever since
