yup, tho they need to be modified to work well under boost

early esprit turbos ran twin carbs as standard.

and obv there a fair few cars that ran a single carb and a turbo as stock, even bentleys and maseratis

I did this when i was a teenager on a moped

I pressurized the float bowl, by putting the drain pipe to a "boost pipe" then got a range of jet's. As mine was a honda "plaki" i didn't care about the engine.

But you might want to invest in a wideband for the safety of your engine

Yes no problem we do it on the Maestro just make sure you get it checked as a Lamba wont give you correct information.

We were running rich on 1 carb and lean on the other, which could have ended in disaster, even though lamba was cock on and running in Low 11s will get a pic

You can do it but it is a real pain in the arse. The carbs will leak and your fueling will be crap.

My advice is don't bother.

If you want to do it cheap, sell the carbs and buy a megasquirt with the money.

You DON'T need special seals etc, depending on how much boost you are running, if running anything other than very low just use DHLA carbs from esprit etc as they are sealed as std.

you need a pair of carbs from a Lotus esorit turbo, perfect for the job!
if you cant find any then speak to a dealer and match partnumbers etc.
