Car Polishing - Rotary machine
I know this isn't going to be anywhere near as good as proper bodyshops use, but can you achieve any kind of significant results with something like this......??

It £15, so I don't expect the world, but is it so shit that its not even worth bothering with? Or plenty good enough for your average bod?

Be very very careful buying cheap ones. My dad bought one for £20 to do his Jag with, luckily thought he'd try it in the workshop first, and as he pulled the trigger the whole thing flew to pieces. Was just left with a handle and motor. Good job it wasn't over the Jag bonnet.

I have one similar to that and its the sort of thing you try once and never again if you apply any pressure then it just slows down/stops and the polishing cloths you get to fit over the sponge come off every 30 seconds and you grind into the pain wih the sponge underneath. It takes about twice as long as doing it by hand and looks a lot worse!!

its not a bad little polisher considering. just doesnt have the torque, so slows when you put pressure on it.
never the less, for the money and for anyone thats not using them all the time, a good little effort for around £35
