And why didnt they all get out of the way???????
It was all under control. The fire marshall was monitoring the situation and if he would of told everyone to move back they would of done. (he can be seen in the first pic on page 1)

The car was brought into the pits with the fire out, but it flared up again when the bonnet was opened. I dont think they would of brought it into the pitlane knowing it was at risk.

I asked Paul was it ok to post the video & pics and he was cool with it.

I have lost 2 cars to fire and know how easy it can be to loose one, Paul knows he was very lucky. I love this car and it was the main reason for me buying mine. I even bought his old wheels to make mine look like his (then he got better ones )

Just glad its safe.

LOL these things happen in the "heat" of the moment

Think Paul was more interested in getting the Marshal across with his full size jobbie to get the nozzle right down the back of the inlet to the source of the problem. The wee one just kept things under control until he arrived.

So true mate , the car was in need of a good ( propper ) bufty under the bonnet as i havent taken the alloy tanks out etc to give them a real clean for 3 years

this is the perfect excuse now
