Thought it was some where in that area ,just bought a new summer toy and was giving it a good check over and found the fuel pump relay to be very hot ,it has had a twin pump set up and was running both pump via a 15 amp relay with a 20 amp fuse ,i have already rewired this though a 40 amp relay. Cant believe the guy i bought it off paid a well known tunner to carry out this crap . Better keep looking for other noughty bits

If you're running two pumps in parallel it doesn't hurt to run two seperate relays to eliminate a SPF (single point of failure)

Mines on a 30A relay and a 20A fuse, never blown so obviously never had the current above 20A.

I do seem to remember IMA saying around 11-12A, may be wrong though

I take the opposite view. If 1 fails your car will still run, but it could run lean.

Yeah, if you've got 600bhp.

Ive been running 2 off a single relay for almost 2 years. Never a single problem. 30A fuse.
