Default outlook express, adding a pic?!

hopefully this is an easy one.

if i want to add a pic to an email so that it shows without having to open it like an attachment how would i do that?

Simply copy and paste....

If you drag the picture from the desktop (or folder on your computer) into the new message box it just adds it as an attachment, but if you open the picture in a web browser (such as IE) and right click > copy, the in the message box right click > paste, it adds the pic visually to the text box. Just tried it myself with a saved picture and one in a web page.

much easier on outlook than it is with things such as hotmail etc where you have to add each on manually

with outlook just drag the items you want to attach to the email and away you go

Its not the sender who decides if the picture is embedded or an attachment, the configuration of the email client of the person you are sending the mail to which decides this.

I do not accept HTML emails or embedded images. as such I would always receive an attachment
