Quick time related Question. Saff Engine out.
Right I cant keep making excuses now.
Need to get this dam 4wd engine out and get it sorted.
I have all the head off, alternator/power stearing pump/exhaust/inlet manifold out of the way.
How long is it going to take to get the rest of the bottom end out of my saff.
Will be on the floor will have no rampp and probably be little old me on my own.
Thansk

i'd say 2 hours if you know how, or 5 maximum if you haven't the slightest clue

Had planned to take out from top, or underneath. I dont know to be honest.
Would love a ramp but its the issue of getting it to the garage, to then get the car and engine back seperatly.

You must be talking with a ramp surely.
I have a cosworth manual here, not read through it yet but if I take from the top, I will still need to brake all the bottom wishbone joints to get drive shafts and stuff out.

The 2 things I am then concerned with.
Lifting the fooker high enough.
Getting the fooking thing back in my garage.

you will easily lift it high enough if you have no head on....it slides out from under easy... mine came out when on axle stands....

escos engine and gearboxes are basically held up with 8 bolts? (not including the prop)
i'm guessing the way forward would be to drop the lot^^?
