Fast 0-60 & 0-100 but slow 0-150. In fact 136-150 takes 3.95 secs. Then I realised it was geared for 153 so 150 would I assume be way past peak Power. Gearing it slightly longer should see a 13sec 0-150. .

Amazing achievments!!

Well done to all who made it today!

Massive respect has to go to the AG Motorsport crew for travelling so far, and Streetracers for once again spending the afternoon under the car to put in some results. Proper attitudes to have there!

You boys make the days what they are. Fantastic show on all fronts!!

Right, bathtime, i smell like a skunk!

Cheers

the wrc wing may have dragged the time down a little and he was not revving it to the peak power rpm also these factors could decrease the time considerably !?

You need to learn how to spell it before you add it. Very good times though, well done.

mikes car is never there for performance runs
I think it's about time he had some real figures for his car instead of dyno ones

Dave,
No-one wants to do it, or their cars aren't ready / are in bits . I might buy a gun though, just to put to people's heads . It really is very frustrating .

Even the Scandinavian guys that have put their name forward for being considered, won't be ready this year .

To be honest, I think some of the big power UK cars just know it is pointless, because they are still some 200bhp behind the top Jap cars....

Both Harvey and Martin are too yella anyway .

That information is classified . Owner wishes to remain anonymous . He may well be at a few track days later this year though .

The small matter of my engine being scattered across Harvey's workshop prevented me from being there , as I did get the invite .

your engine is always scattered across Harveys workshop, perhaps you ought to just leave it bolted to the dyno and not bother putting it in the car.
Mike you truly are an engine destroyer is your driving that bad lol

Hi Rod,
According to Harvey (as posted earlier), he rev limited it to 8k on the day, as he wanted to work out the gearing to see what it would do with the car fully set-up for a top speed run. 153.45mph @ 8k = 19.18mph per 1000rpm = a theoretical top speed of 176mph @ 9200rpm.

As can be seen by Martin's 0-150mph (without rear spoiler), Harvey's car has some more in it for acceleration runs, should he chose to go their properly prepared (removal of excessive camber dialled in for Cadwell park the previous day / rear spoiler), but would still be rubbish on top speed (limited by power and gearing).

I think it has the potential to do 2.5 to 60, 5.5 to 100 and 13 something to 150 - not bad for a heavy car with a 120kg driver . I think he needs the light-weight Mr H to drive it for him .

The small matter of driving it like I stole it and problematical parts .

Fingers crossed it will now be reliable, as I always try and ensure it has the best of everything, so it's not like I skimp on stuff . I just think that as Harvey says "You're the only person I know that uses every single horse-power ALL the time." Perhaps I should just turn the boost down and drive like a girl on track etc .
