Formula 1 car was clocked 2.2s when they were using V10 engines, and with V8 it must be just 0.1 slower, due to F1 V8 engines having more torque than V10s.

Is there not something already out there?

What are people like keith cowie using?

Can you not do it on your T6, as its only a PWM input for the txb isnt it?

Well done Harvey!

It did look fantastically well-prepped when I saw it in the workshop

As I understand it this was a tuner shoot out?

A call was made to AVA from FF but sadly mines and Neils werent ready.

Harvey's tmes are awesome but surely the gearing plays a massive part in this also?

the limited speed dosent depend on power at all but its all in the gear ratios/final drive.

Your car fitted with the same set up as harvey would still be limited to 153.

are you sure harvey is limited to the same rpm as a standard stage 3, i bet a stage 3 is lower rpm.

what a cheeky git lmao !

right to start andrew i think was on 4.44 diffs same as harvey correct me if im wrong

heres the times of the two quickest cars today
harveys and andrews !
hg ag
0-60 2.91 3.06

0-100 5.76 6.34

quater mile 10.60 10.80

top speed 153.62 154.56

0-150 14.(not sure exact but near dead 14) dont know!

harvey also said he was only revving it to 8000 so if he revved it to 8500
(where it makes peak power he could be quicker also next 0-60 he is going to take away alot of the rear camber and run some decent tyres instead of old rally tyres !! hes got 2.5/2.6 in mind !!

it was a great day overall ! ill get some pics of harveys car up soon !!

Hot off the press (well a few hours late, as I've been out ), Harvey improved his 0-100 time to 5.68s, but unfortunately the front prop (due to the 50/50 power split) sacrificed it's life in the process . It's twisted it like a piece of liquorice . I'm sure photos will be forth-coming tomorrow to show the 2.5 times it has twisted .

The full build up of Harvey's car is available here: https://passionford.com/forum/restorations-rebuilds-and-projects/172368-harvey-s-ex-grp-a-track-day-car-minor-update-29-feb-2008-a.html

I thought he only mapped it on Super and that is what it achieved his power figure on? Obviously he could have achieved an extra 40bhp over the "super" dyno figure, but I didn't think he actually did a dyno plot on the race fuel?

Also the top speed was hampered by an 8k rev limit (self imposed as that is all the rev counter goes to at the moment) and he forgot to bring his lap top to enable him to increase this, as he was working on customer's cars until 2.30 this afternoon, and the decision to turn up was done on the spur of the moment following a phone call from Jamie .

Obviously with some preparation there is much more to come .

obviously he dosnt tell you everything then mike !!

also he did have his laptop but set the limiter at 8000 as he wante to know the top speed at 8
the top speed will be insreased though as it will rev to 9200 !
you may think this is a waste as power drops but it is still hanging on to 600 bhp on its way to 9000 !!
