Just purchased ELM327 off of ebay, I know that its pretty budget but it looks very good.

Anyone use it?

ELM327 is just a chip.. do you mean you've bought a device that uses the chip? If so, sure, it's an OBD scanner chip and it works.

you just bought it off ebay - there is no 'of' necessary in that sentence. of is a preposition

looks alright for the price, let us know what the software is like

That's a bargain really, the ELM327 chips alone are about a tenner, plus the usb<>serial converter and the other bits to go with the ELM, and the 16-pin connector and cable.. Ł25 is a steal!

i have one and to be honest, the software really lets them down, its ok on some cars , but crap on others
