Default Making your own ignition leads ?

Can you buy ignition leads that you can make up yourself ?

Basically I need to make some to suit a vauxhall on the engine side and have zetec coilpack fittings on the other, they can't be cheap quality though, the coilpack is mounted on the wing so they will be a bit longer than normal leads too.

Any suggestions ?

yes

Halfords do them - go to the parts counter and ask for individual HT leads, you can the cut to lenght and add whatever end caps you like.

Nice one, I suppose they are only as good as you make them up, the engine will be 550+hp on the gas which is why its using the MSD zetec coilpack.

Thanks again

I've just bought 8 1m 8mm silicone leads from my local factors - £30 which I didn't think was too bad, then went to the scrappers and got 2 coilpacks with plug caps and some other bits and bats for £25

Just waiting on my other bits and bats then I can get on with fitting it all
