I don't think it's what it was mate. I was in Lincoln yesterday and looking round the dealers and there was literally no-one looking around. And there were some good deals as well. I used to buy and sell them now and again but I'm certainly not going to be doing it anymore once the current one I've got has gone, if I decide to even sell it because I know I won't get what it's worth. Too much aggravation for not enough money back I reckon. All I'm looking to do now is keep my Mondeo as a work car and find a nice play car (possibly) and that's me done with buying cars.

I just find it's so much hassle to make a few quid because no-one wants to pay anything for cars now. Good when you go out with a wad of cash in your hand to buy one but not so good when you're trying to sell.

We generaly speaking have 7 or more cars in the drive. We buy and sell quite alot and repair accident damaged ones.Car market is shit these days tbh not what it was 2 years ago. I know some one who has a fiesta he bought to sell hes sturggling to even clear his feet on it now and id have said he got it for a bargain price. Been told that the markets slow'd down loads and think its true.

i do a few myself, but at the moment it has slowed right down. cheap and cheerfulls always sell, especially saxos and small cars with power steering but the trouble is you are always working with a smaller margin on cars under 1k so if anything goes wrong then you can end up at point where you might as well not bothered. I bought a saxo from auction a month ago by the time i paid the auction fee and repaired the faults (drive shaft brakes and service) and taxed it (always sell better with tax) i made £40!!!!!, luckily i bought the guys fiesta off him for £20 and weighed it in for £178 but that was a lucky escape. if you do go for it then good luck and i hope it works out
