dunno mate, i don't really like them.. personal choice though.. but i would try get some sorta plastic mould to fit over them

doesn't look too bad considering what's been done and like others say if it serves the purpose then fair play!

They would look better if they had more of a 3D look to them, they look very flat, but purposeful
