FAO "white4x4cos" Your car is a credit to you...(Datalogs now Added)
As title, Will and I spent all night mapping it, got home at 2am, and we both agree that it is by far the nicest prepared and most competent all round sapphire we have ever been in.
Workmanship is all A1. it has absolutely NOTHING wrong with it at all, and the engine swallows 34psi on the T38 without dramas and pulls nicely to 7600rpm showing that its working very well indeed.
Top Job mate, you should be proud of your work and i thought it was worth a post as its rare i see a perfect Sapphire nowadays, very rare. Hope you enjoy the drive home to Holland this weekend, she should be ready for Friday afternoon.

In full agreement with Stu on this one - absolutely lovely car!
In fact as we pulled back into the industrial estate i made the comment "I can see what all the fuss was about"
One of the first cars to me that truly highlighted to me the actual capabilities of a properly built cosworth
Johan it is truly a credit to both you and John

Ok, hopefully this is self explanatory.
It is the datalog you will normally get from me when we do either a setup, adata diagnostic session or full live map. remember that boost is in absolute pressure, IE: we have 1.572bar of boost at 2934rpm. NOT 2.572.

The onset of surge. Will be mapped out on later sessions this week. That run was to get the top end done while we had time and clear roads, the hard bit of boost curves and nice driveability (5th gear tractable from 20mph etc) is still to be done although we have got her running between 14 and 14.5:1 off boost everywhere with only 0.8% Co at idle, so it was a really productive night as that normally takes 2 nights. Wills mapping is coming along real well.
It will be lovely once we activate closed loop on it as well.*
* Shame the ALS and LC will likely eat the sensors regularly though.
Ha Ha.
