Due to the S2 that was nicked the other day its got me thinking about security for my mk3. Now the majority of us drive old Fords and some are being sought after by collectors or rally enthusiasts. I remember reading somewhere last year on the net that mk2 escorts where primary targets and a few have been stolen.....

Not too sure on security systems but that one looks like a good bit of kit.

 

I have a decent good spec alarm and immobiliser but you never know what might happen.

Another question: i know the police have the tech to track a car down when they can be arsed, is there a device where we can? Maybe a program to upload to our phone or sat nav system so we could track it down ourselves......

 

Place an old phone in the car hidden away permantly on charge with a tracking program on from the internet. My mate done that and he said it works a treat
