charity fundraiser
is anybody up for raising some money for one of the cancer charities?
I saw a poster today advertising a charity bungee jump. I rang the phone number on it. They said if you raise £100.00 in sponsorship money you can get your bungee jump for free. Or as an alternative you could pay £40.00 and not have to bother with raising the sponsorship. I got to thinking, that is £60.00 for the charity and £40.00 for the operator. thats for 5 seconds of exhilaration.
On the same basis would anyone be interested in raising money for cancer research or similar by getting sponsored to sit in with a top rally driver in an Escort Cosworth Rally Car on a proper gravel stage. The costs would be the same but the rally experience would be far better value for money, equally terrifying, probably safer and definatley more memorable.
Let me know if you want me to organise it
