Default How do you fix plastic windows into you car?

Im fitting a plastic window set to an SX, also I have a pair of wide arch rear quarters in fibre glass to attach to the car also and want to know what is best to bond them on woth, we wont be using rivits so name a specific brand so we can get the windows to stay in place and the quarters to stay on too

i have used the original rubbers

but i think for shell rigidity people do rivet them in


not sure what they use to bond thou so im of no help

OK yes I would try the rubber on the windows for the OE look, but need something to bond the wings on with then

i had a new windscreen put in by rac autoglass, and when the guy came out i mentioned i had polycarb rear and side windows and whats the best way to put them in. he bonded them in for me there and then lol

also, its worth noting that he spaced them out a few mm with some foam strip stuff so they didnt sit too far into the car and look odd.

if you want to bond the f/g quarters on, you cant go far wrong with tiger seal
