Default Welding fuel rails???

Whats the sketch with these?

I got given a fuel rail thats had -6 ends gas welded on, I was under the impression that doing this makes them porous or just doesn't weld very well!!

AND I was right, one end leaks!!

SO, whats the best way to do it? Silver solder or brazed on??

And is the one I have rescue-able!! I would think not really?
