I agree - nobody elses business how much I or anyone else does or doesn't owe and I'm certainly not going to advertise my financial standing on the internet.

I don't owe anything. I am owed money and I live comfortably with what I earn.

luckly at the moment i owe nothing but the mortgage, but i am struggling to keep my head above water at the moment and ive got another kid on the way, wish i hadn't took on such a big mortgage on a house with no garage! im doing loads of overtime at work at the moment but if i didnt i would be living out my savings( not much!) so i dont no what im going to do, even if the gf would let me sell the house i would still owe money on it as its not worth what i paid for it now! it would be nice to see the kids and not work all the time!, might have to start selling the cars soon

I owe less than what i have in my savings.

No credit cards, cars paid for and only 60k left on the mortgage on a house worth 340k.

Mortgage and student loan and thats it!

I have previously taken out loans or gone into my overdraft for cars and stuff and its worked really well for me, so debt can be a good thing if its under control!

When I was living at home I took out a loan for a car to force me to save some money rather than waste it all. Started off with nothing, bought a car for 6k uing the loan, paid off loan for 6 months or so (only about £450 a month), sold car for 7k, paid off the loan and was left with 4k cash to buy a new car with If I hadn't of done that I would have wasted it all on beer and stuff!

so no ones up to their eyes in it and struggling? things cant be so bad after all then although no one is really going to post details of their out of control credit card/loans/finance payments so a bit of a pointless thread really.
