Mark only does on autronic, and is off work for 2 weeks due to the birth of his son.

What ECU are you on mate?

If its L8 you are pretty much stuck with the 3 you listed!

AFAIK, to live map properly, the tuners need the car for a week or thereabouts, to check cold start blah blah..

TBH, I'd rather drive 3hrs each way and get the job done properly..

Get someone to follow u up, or trailer it, and pick it up when its done

You get what you pay for, and there are one a few tuners in the UK that know which buttons to press

Not the first to have problem blamed on siemens.
I had a EA(stage3) chip/set up, recently 28/11/07 where it made 328.8bhp, 288.7lbft.
This was on a stage three, but it was using petrol like it was going out of fashion, and fouling plugs etc.
I was unhappy after a while despite an apparent 60odd bhp increase over stage 1, but then put it on another rollers, where the TRUE reading was very different and problems came to light.
The real power was 271.5BHP, 334.3lbft, a LOSS of 0.2BHP over a GGR stage 1 chip!!.
The torque curve plummets after 3500 due to MASSIVE ignition retard.
I used the same rollers for comparison purposes between a GGR stg1 and the EA chip.
The person I use does NOT do cossies as such, and knows neither of these people.
I regret the whole experience and would not wish it on anyone else, but it's your money and your choice.
The AFR on the GGR chip was between about 11.5 to 12.5, the EA chip was between 11 and 10.5..

why spend thousands on a new engine build then worry about hundreds when it comes to mapping????????

IMO get it booked in @ MSD in blackpool. what stu doesnt know about mapping cossies, isnt worth knowing.....he's your man!

I have to agree.....why spend all tha tmoney on an engine only to scrimp on travelling to get it set up? I know petrol is expensive but not that expensive!! And besides, Stu can actually map your car to be economical during off boost driving!

Drive the distance and get it done properly!!

Not like I did....drive the distance and get shafted!

Now book it in with Stu or Sheady, you will regret it otherwise!!
