Its an ex Ice Racer, and them things are always nuts.

Might be a good vid to show those "sideways is ALWAYS the slowest way on a track" blinkered folk (who obv have never tried driving hard on a track) too...

Depends on the car at the end of the day, there are plenty of grip driving cars out there that would be faster round than that, but yeah that one certainly makes rapid progress that im sure couldnt be matched in the same car without sliding.

I had a micra as a first car, the same shape as that. Hated it to fuck but if I had that much power and rear wheel drive I'd sacrifice looking like a total knob every day of my life just to be able to have that power and handling!!

Some guy in and around my local area has a supercharged one

Seen it only a couple of times though.

Not too sure. I only know because a friend of mine mentioned it was and I happen to be in the right place to witness it going at full chat and certainly sounded supercharged but I couldn't tell you for certain. Is the same shape as the one in the vid though.

If its still the same as they were when they competed under T3F rules it is mid engine 4wd n/a V6.

Spaceframe chassis, shilouette thing, very little actual Micra left, unsuprisingly.

Yeah, when I say V6 i dont mean a 2.8 Cologne, they ran proper mega rev race V6s.

Tho only fairly small capacity, about 300bhp or something IIRC, like a Metro 6R4 really.

Circuit looks familiar. Is it the same one that's on the vid of that white Evo being driven properly sideways lap after lap till he barrel rolls it?

Edit: Yes it is... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARQ_iIWQBO0

The FBE V6 cosworth engine ran 300 bhp, but I would not use it as its quite heavy
