any easy way to do a head gaskey on a xantia 1.9td

you have to love french cars, any one know the easy way to change the head gasket on a 1.9td xantia,the things we have to do for a mate.Or should I just scrap his car and buy him another one it looks a nasty job

perhaps whilst the head was off i should have done what peugeot did with the t16 rally cross car using this block would have made for a fast xantia

would be a labour of love, as a gasket and a new belt kit is probably the price of the car

engine out would prob be just as quick, avoid all those scraped kunckles that way!
