Default arp conrod bolts

do you just tighten these as normal is there any thing special to know

IIRC on vauxhalls anyway but no reason why the same wouldn't apply on anything else you lightly coat the threads in the supplied grease, torque them down evenly once, then crack them off, then do them up again, crack them off again then tighten them for the last time.

I have no idea if this applies when using any arp rod bolts but you have to chamfer (sp) the caps slightly as there is a ridge on the arp bolt that doesn't allow it to seat properly on a vauxhall.

I need my bearing caps done on my xe engine.


The method mentioned above is how the instructions tell you to do it when you get them new
