Will be a drag car or Rallycross engine I reckon.. 800bhp+ easy.

I really hope you haven't posted this to start a row... and I REALLY hope that one doesn't occur!

Oooops - A proper can of worms!

Even if we put them into sub catogorys:

1. YB up to 1798 cc

2. YB up to 1998 cc

3. YB 2.2 litres and over

How about the highest powered Cossie engine, regardless of everything??

Then it would be interesting to know the highest powered Cossie engine in a Road car running on Pump Fuel.......

LOL Porkie, correct

So many sub catogorys:

section C:
1. Pump fuel
2. Racing fuel
3. Methanol

Section J:
1. NOS
2. Without NOS

Section M:
a. Dyno Proven
b. Non Dyno proven
c. Arse dyno proven

whats the point in knowing hp?

Rods - fastest topspeed recorded
Kevs - Fastest 1/4 recorded
hadland - Fastest 0-60 recoreded?

Thats the numbers on pretty resonable timing gear - engine sizes, gearbox etc etc meaningless.... they WILL beat you in a straight line race LOL

Corners mean sod all - down to car AND driver.

where did you get that figure from out of interest and slidding down the BDTE route

I thought Pat's was 750+BHP the Mountune Pikes Peak 200 is alleged to have 840bhp but its times in Evo were slower than Dorans car possibly due to big wing and suspension setup Theres also that Drag Ford Probe BDT 'E' Evolution engine which has 825 BHP and does 0-177mph in 7.53 seconds
