demand that no direct debit are refused and also tell them it's not your fault and you will be taking it further as it will effect your credit score/rating as you have gone overdrawn

ok, so being a victim of card fraud is a bit shitty.
but what happens to the bastard that used the card in the first place?
do they try and find these people?
i mean, whats to stop me and one of my mates going "ok i'll take your card, buy a new tv, then you ring up and say its fraud, you get cash back i give you £300 for the £1000 tv?"

maybe i'm just a little naive, but it seems it could be this easy.
