the other week i went to a ford dealer to order a pair of inner wings for a mondeo st as they are different to the normal run of the mill mondeo due to the bumpers and wings being wider
so they ordered the bits up and i collected them the next day
the only problem is that they are exactly the same as the ones i've got, meaning they don't fit
but there is only one part number listed for the inner wing, which is why i've had to pay a 15% surcharge on returning correctly ordered parts![Wall](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/wall.gif)
anyone help?

apparently as i didn't give a chassis/reg number they have ordered the correct part
even though it's not the corect part as i took some pictres to show exactly how much of an incorrect part it was
so they checked the numebrs and the parts that they ordered do apparently match up to the parts that are suitable for the car i was ordering them for, even though they still can't explain why they don't fit![Wall](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/wall.gif)
at least i got a partial refund, if i hadn't of gone back within 7 days as stated i would have got jack

Dojj - Tell them to fcuk off with their surcharge.. If THEY failed to ask the relevant questions to determine the correct parts THEY are at fault. did they warn you saying they maybe wrong? if not tell them to get screwed.

nope, they loaded up the screen to say it was for an 04 mondeo st220 after i'd told them i didn't have a reg number or a chassis number
subsequent investigations though have lead me to believe that there is a problem with their system as the parts have a "-st220/titanium x" after them, but no one is sure as to what that means
even though i would have thought it meant these cars would have a different part
i shall give the parts man another go as i've discovered another surprisingly surprising alternative to getting stuff from ebay "because people are selling it and the buyers are in a frenzy"
