Looks a lovely dog!

this is what dogs do though - roll in shit, swim in dirty rivers and brooks, sniff and eat stuff they shouldnt - thats what we love about having them isnt it? they're gonna stink a bit from time to time! part and parcel of having a dog i think!

It could be your washing your dog too much ours don't get washed very often if at all under normal circumstances unless theyve been in shitty water(i,e it actually had shit in it) fresh water or a running stream shouldnt be bad at all mud usually comes off of its own accord once its dry i washed my lab rottweiler a week or so ago after she had been in some dodgy smelling stuff and stills smells of the shampoo!!!

Yes it will be his ears for sure. My lab gets smelly ears every now and then. Just clean them out with some wet wipes and he'll be all fresh again. Best to get him checked out though first, incase its an infection of some sort.

Just try giving him a rinse and a rub every after he goes in the river or sea and see what happens mate.

You sure he's not just a persistant farter?
