ofac and ofab whats the main differance
alright folks ive got hold of a ofac system that has been chipped
whats the main differance
i was told the ofab is the better one due to the map senser being a cozzie type one
on the ofac i was told i can 18 psi max but its the injecters that max out so will i be able to push 16 and hold a bar at all or can it only be a bar max

The main difference is the type of MAP sensor used.
Either systems can be easily mapped by changing injectors and map sensor.
(The same type of map sensor must be used just a different range)
Not all tuning companies can do both correctly !

cheers fella dont really wanna pay to get it mapped fella as its just gonna be a standardish engine

OFAB and C are basically the same although the OFAC uses slightly different fuel mapping techniques.
The OFAB uses a 2bar Weber voltage referenced map sensor where as the Ford uses a 2.5bar frequency output sensor.
The internal mapping of the OFAC does indeed have some limitations built into it that limit the fuel map to 16psi of held boost, but we can of course get round that no problem. Either system will do what you want it to do, and we have used both of them with no problem to in excess of 350bhp.

I actually made a small converter that allows you to run an analogue map sensor on OFAC 
You have to know how to re-linearise the input though or you'll end up in a world of mud.

cheers for that fella im only gonna peak at 16 and hold a bar mainly want it for the chattering lol
ill get in touch with you guys soon to map my s1 poss gonna run emarald on it
also do you guys make i think its apexi my mates just bought 2nd hand apexi ecu for his toyota gt4 running a big front mount and poss stage 3 turbo
