Week before = excitement,
week after = regret.

Don't do it, it's not too late.

Best of luck

Just speaking from experience, biggest regret of my life, literally changes everything within a year, seen it happen to a lot of good mates as well.

Perhaps he's lucky and is marrying a girl who does as she's fucking told

As said, you're only 6 months in, give it time.....

Does your husband feel the same out of interest? If he says yes, he's lying

I was strangely un-bothered by it all, and the fact i was un bothered seemed to bothere everyone else more than me. ha Ha.

I actually got more excited as the day grew near and i knew all our plans had been put into place correctly and that nothing was likely to go wrong. I started to get nervous the day before, and was pretty damn scared on the day itself, especially when tehb car was a tad late, but i have to say, it was, without doubt, the best day of my life and i wish we could do it every year. The people who made teh effort to be there really made our day, it was amazing and im sure yours will be too. Its a real wierd feeling knowiwng everyone has set a day of ltheir lives aside ONLY for YOU. They gain nothing on your day, so be proud that they have made the effort to come. We loved it.

My only advice to you is enjoy every second of it, the time flies, i was daunted by how long the day looked on paper, but in reality it flies, and i know "Everyone says that" but thats because its true. It was all over too soon, and we were having tyhe last dance wishing it could go on into the next day. In fact, we even ended up in a bloody hotel room with our mates and some beers, nicole still in her dress, sat on teh floor pissed, it was a riot and a day we will never forget for teh rest of our lives.

One thing maybe worth a mention is that one of the best things we arranged was to have the horse and cart whisk us away for 30mins directly after the ceremony so we could just be alone and have a few words together away from all the people.

If you are having it all in one venue then IMO you need that, so if you havent sorted it, nows your time while you still can. If your going on to a reception, make sure your driver knows to take a route that will take 30mins, just to give you some breathing space and take it all in.

Apart from that, just enjoy it.

(Video of our wedding day if anyones feeling in the wedding mood.)

Stu you described it really well.

I remember the ceremony seemed to be about 3mins, and then once we got to our reception venue it seemed about 2hrs and it was nearly 10pm

you really dont get chance to take it in though, i would also say take 5 mins every hour to try and see your wife and look at whats going on so you remember your day.

i couldnt have cared less, the day was for me and Lee, if everyone else didnt like it they should have went home, bet they werent complaining when eating our food and drinking our drink.

I went and spoke to the people i wanted to speak to, generally those who i wanted there in the first place

Lee stood at the bar most of the night admittedly, but the people in question also made no attempt to come and speak to either of us, oh well!

Stu you cant please everyone, the wedding taught me that! the only 2 people who should be happy are bride and groom, who cares about everyone else
