GT30s rock - now with dyno plot :p!
Just did this engine for a customer in Germany in collaboration with Harvey. All I can say is OMG - you wouldn't believe what power this produced at a meagre 23psi (finally capped at 26psi).
The boost control was perfect (how does 6psi @ 7500 rpm sound with the wastegate fully open ) and the redesigned manifold withstood all the dyno could throw at it .
Peak power was made at 7500 rpm (and was still climbing, but it is on normal lifters, so it was not mapped any further) and peak torque was made at 7000 - but a beautiful flat curve from 3500 to 7500 .
Obviously the inlet manifold proved it's worth as well (blatant plug of these items I know ) in removing the inherent restrictions of the standard system.
Thanks go to Harvey for a spec to suit the nature of the owner (he wants to go Porsche bating on the Autobahn - so long duration cams, big ports (by the one and only Nick Waples )) and low compression.
Sorry, no figures, as it's not my engine (and to really piss Dumped off ) and the owner will have to say it's okay to release these . Oh, I'm such a tease .

I must admit, Harvey knows his sh!t, built me an engine thats sweet as
GT28, low comp, greys etc etc, fookin pulls without lag from 2500RPM right till 7000RPM, made 363BHP at 24 psi and needs to run 29 psi when fully setup...................
The engine feels absolutely bullit proof and revs so easy, cant wait to get her setup properly and 400BHP with no lag
Top man Harvey

Some other little trick bits:
RS500 throttle body with remote idle control valve .
P8 dizzyless with full idle control (Mark will know how tricky that was ).
Repositioned phase sensor (see back of cam cover).
PROPER 12 position boost control on air injectors (the BEST way ).
Whitneyed,
So you think that 26psi is a lot? .
A GT30 pisses that figure at 18psi

Ranj,
Before you get it on Simon's dyno, make sure he connects the barometric compensation to it . Mark will know why and what I mean. Without this printed on the side of each dyno run, the power recorded is meaningless and will fluctuate on a daily basis for the same engine .
