i just wana get 2.2 bar in it from a t4 without any caping to stop surge and the highest inlet cam i can get with a r & b motorsport swedish inlet and see what i can get top end bhp. and the head not to be a restriction.

Well 450lb ft @ 5000rpm @ 2.2 bar, doesn't seem too big to me . Mine is also only a baby engine (60 trim T4) and makes less than 550bhp . I think some people underestimate the porting required to achieve the power they want....
You will struggle to get much over 500hp on 25mm and a T4 and just about impossible to see 550hp on a T4 unless you have a trick engine,
I have seen 707hp on 26mm inlet ports but no T4, You poss could get 550hp on 25mm if you have a GT35.

thanks mark i dont wana miss a head if it comes up i need to be looking for a 26/27 head then. will 25 be ok for the exhaust side ?
