Gutted for Chelsea.
They came so close to winning that game.....hit the post, hit the bar, they started poorly but were the better team for the last 75mins.
Gutted for Terry too, slipping when taking the biggest kick of your career has gotta hurt!
ps i've been told many many many times by United fans that a win on penalties isn't as special as one without pens....still feel like that now??

Its special but not the way to win a game, breathtaking, exciting, nerve racking but not entirely fair given the two teams performance over the 90/120mins.
Very close game and Chelsea done well. Man Utd have been the best team in the world this season so they do deserve the win. Awesome save by Van De Saar, very happy for Sir Alex especially.

enjoyed the game and thought chelsea were going to do it-especially when ronaldo missed the penalty.
drogba was lucky vidic didnt knock him the fuck out-he was fuming!dont think drogba will be at chelsea for long now.....

If Drogba wasn't such a moaning faced cheating cock of a man, i'd love to see him playing for Utd, he is a quality player.

ROFL, i knew someone (likely you) would make a post playing it down with this or that. Fact is we won both, undisputed kings of Europe, Premiership and Champions league. You did it with Barcelona saying similar stuff but we have been unbeaten ALL the way through and in the first knockout stage, quarters and semi finals, 6 games in all against good teams they only managed to score 1 goal. You keep banging on about this 2 finals in CL but since it's been named CHampions league we have done better, 2 finals, 2 wins. HA HA. As for the PL, well look at the goal difference.
I'd love to tell you what it feels like when a team you've supported all your life wins a trophy with a big whopping golden crown on top but you'll never know.
Stop spoiling the party, just because you had nothing to play for. P.S did you see Vidic diving head it over his own bar from low down, tell RIISE that's how its done.

But I agree with Martin, penalties can be very much a 50/50 (and yes I used to support MUFC). I bet I could score past pro goalkeepers on a penalty

50 years after the busby Babes, this win is very special for those of us that remember where it all started, at the moment nothing feels better than this win. .
