I'm looking for a aftermarket 60 or 65mm throttle body, I'm quite sure I had seen one on a Area 6 inlet on flee bay, iirc it was blue and a Ford product ?
What size tb did the RS500 use ?
I need something quite urgently so any links would be helpful

I've got one sitting at home. Its a 65mm Jackson Racing TB meant for a blacktop zetec engine, if that's any good to you. I'm pretty sure it can be adapted to use on any zetec engine. PM me if you want to know more.

the 65mm focus central ones for the zetec are really nice though, makes it very revvy and good throttle response. i had a 1.8 TB on my supercharger (just to get it up and running) then when i put that 65mm one on it made such a difference (and we ported out the bit where it bolts onto to 65mm aswell.
not so sure it would make any difference on a normal zetec though!
the focus one wont fit a silvertop unless you fit a blacktop inlet manifold, it is totally different fitment.

We've decided the best option as the plenum already has a 75mm fixing on it is to get a plate made to blank that off and bring it down to a more sensible size, atleast in the future he could go bigger if required.
As we've discussed before Chip its got to flow approx 600hp at the very most, I still don't see the need for a 75mm to flow that.
Mike, thanks for the link, any discount if I buy a set of gold wheels off you ?
Pani_k- PM me some more info please
