Why is it best to speak to the only (repeated) person who's had a problem? As with everything, you hear the bad much more than the good.. and such threads just propogate that effect.

Every piston manufacturer, at one point or another, has had a bad batch.. if that was the case with 'Nash'.. assuming his engine was built correctly (not that I know either way) is perhaps no better than assuming that Wossner pistons are crap.. (although they are VERY cheap!)..

My pistons slap, sounds like a massey ferguson!!
Mine are std mahle, but 140,000 miles now!!

we had wossner pistons and after 3k they developed piston slap, then the engine let go a few K after that

You will get more slap on a wossner that standard mahle as they run bigger clearances.

im after as much info on this as i can as my engine builder is telling me one thing and im hearing loads of other things elsewhere spent 4 grand on my engine build and only done 4000 miles sounds like bag nails need as much info as i can so i can get it sorted with engine builder
