ive got a 306 xldt, 90bhp diesel so not the best in economy, but I do get 600 miles to 60 quid.

I guess thats ok?

I get about - well I dont want to calulate it - in my Escort

I would go for a fiesta, some of these other cars have bike tires on them in order to aid there great MPG. I would want a little comfort and stability.

You need a hummer. LOL

Get a ELECTRIC car for such a small journey, even cheaper.

does anyone know how much it cost in mains elec to charge one is it more ,less or the same cost per mile as a ice powered car

with the cost of electricity I wouldn't be getting one of those just for the sake of the environmemt !!!

i get 54mpg average from my 2.0 tdci mondeo and thats day to day driving, get more on a run

go for a 1.4tdci fiesta

rough cost looks like a thrid of the cost of a normal car per mile to that of an electric just takes a lot longer to refil th elecetric one. sorry i'm 12 hours late for work boss I had to fill up the car
