NO gasket!
Removing the diff plate in situ will mean removing the rear mount (4x 13mm bolts to the chassis) and 2 (19 or 17mm bolts to the diff casing) and then 8 or 9 (T45 or T50 torx bit) bolts that hold the cover on... Just so you know how easy it is

yeah had a look under there, seems very straight forward, just wanted to check before i did it so i could get the gasket before hand.
guess its just trusty ford gasker sealer then.
is there a way to check the condition of the unit?
