imagine a whole paddock full of chavs.. lol

and then add some average track action and a few drift cars lol

ques 30-40m long for every burger van.

still at least it didnt rain lol.

wasn't too bad i spose, if I'm honest. but the cars out on track seemed to be the same ones all day long.

EDIT: some of the cars were pretty cool though!

I thought it was mint!

and RS days have more power than grip? i stopped going to RS days as nobody can drive for shit and just fanny around like a parade lap most the time? get the odd car sliding around, and a load of random panicy tank slappers?

a lot of em certainly fucking go some at Japfest.

its not as if they cant drive, my mate who did A1GP in 2006, and Formula 3 before that was out there in his S15 for example...

lol at rs day parade laps....to be honest i thought a lot of the sessions today at japfest were 'parade' laps cos they were goin so slow, didn't see many peope pushin their cars very hard tbh! Drift cars were good as always but can't say i thought that much to the rest of the track action, was pretty borin seein the same scooby's and evo's goin round in most of the sessions. RS day at combe is a better all round day imo.

Didn't think it was as good as last year, track action certainly wasn't as good. Still a decent enough day out though.

Our RS owners Club stand went down well with about 99% of folks who were there!

There was a constant stream of folks stopping and taking pics of the cars, with only one misserable old piss stained bastard having a whinge about it "not being right that fords are allowed in..." - Probably drives an old micra or summat!

I agree that the track action seemed quite "sedate" compared to all the other track days ive done there!

I'll get some pics up in a minute!

I failed to attend despite booking a couple of track sessions!

Couldn't be arsed to go, had the builders around my house, so spent the day digging instead!

Gutted I missed the rain (as Combe in the wet is fun in the Evo), but oh well, maybe next year.

I didn't go but my mate went in his Integra DC5 and was raving about it as hes spent all winter adding expensive/trick parts.
Its a white one and he said he was spanking all manner of high powered evos etc he was on track quite late in the day as it wasn't his intention!

i would have gone had it not been so far away.

Sounds like Time Attack/Modified Live at Oulten Park last month was better, and probably had more drifting and jap cars!

I went 2 years ago, i had an mr2 then so felt i could!! It was me and the missus 1st date! Only stayed a while as found it quite boring and ended up spending a bit of time round the mr2 stands. Went last year with my bro in law(yes still with her for now!) but found it even more boring as had my rover coupe turbo then.He had his gt4. Wouldnt go again unless i had a jap car on a stand.
