Default My Cossie Just Rolled Into My Garage Door!

I pulled up at home a minute ago and put the handbrake on, turned the lights off and all of a sudden BANG my car was embeded in the garage door

my drive is on a slope and my handbrake is borderline, i suppose its over borderline now then

anybody have any idea how much a new garage door is going to cost, i live with my parents so i will have to replace it

i think its made by garadoor or something as well and i seem to think they are pricey

i am massivley fucked off!

stand behind said dent and boot it back to straight, as long as it still operates as normal then why replace it? Our door is banana shaped cos I reverse my car against it as the car is longer than the drive so I put it up against the door to stop people tripping over the front end

Shit!
I always make a point of leaving mine in gear because i've heard the handbrakes can creep off due to the brakes cooling down and the discs contracting?
As said above, as far as i know, garage doors aint cheap!

At least you didnt back through it reversing out your garage. Sounds like a comedy sketch but my uncle got a phone call one day. Went round and a bloke he did a bit of work for backed his car through the door luckily it was a grp door so nicely snapped were he hit it.

Leave the car in gear every time, prevent this happening, cossie hand brakes are shit, but then again I suppose this is shutting the garage door after the cossie has bolted
